It is said to be the most wonderful time of the year, and who can argue with that, when there is so much to be happy and grateful for? What?! You didn’t get into the Christmas spirit yet? Well, as you grow older, stress and responsabilities can make you lose touch with the celebrations that once use to be so important to you. No worries, there’s still time, and a serious number of triggers to help you: carols, cookies or calling bonuses. Check them all out!
Create a Christmas-y home 🎄
Decorate your way through the holidays. No kidding, it helps you relax and focus on the present. It also helps your creativity, gets you in a positive mood, and if it can involve other family members or friends, call it quality time spent together. How is it going with the Christmas tree? Put it up early and enjoy every moment of decorating it.
Put some ♫ on
Take some rhythm, add some holiday lyrics, put on some music, and don’t forget to smile while doing this. The perfect combination to get you ready for Christmas. It also goes well with the decorating part.
Bake something
Because different flavors and smells remain in our memory, so many people associate Christmas with gingerbread, oranges or anything freshly baked, for that matter. So, start baking something yourself, they say that nothing tastes better than what comes out of your hands.
Be generous 🎁
Christmas is probably the time of year when we’re the most generous. We spend days thinking about the perfect gifts, making lists, shopping and wrapping. However, the Christmas spirit expresses a generosity greater than that, because we’re knowingly giving our money and time to do good. Maybe that’s what Christmas is all about: giving to those in need, without expecting anything in return.
Be joyfull 🙂
It’s every child’s favorite holiday and most adults love it, too. We all should take things lightly and just clear our minds, to let the joy in.
Connect with your family ❤
The people we most like to be with on Christmas are our families. No matter how childish your dad’s jokes are, how annoying your brother is, or what embarrassing questions your mom asks, on Christmas you still want to join them, no matter how far away you live.
If going home is not an option this Christmas, we can help you spend quality time with your family even from afar. We’re acctually convinced that Santa is willing to offer gifts to anyone, be it from the Nice, Naughty or I tried category.
