KeepCalling offers lunch to 13 children in need for 8 weeks
KeepCalling’s first donation in 2014 goes to a project called “A hot meal”, which offers lunch to 13 children with serious financial difficulties, each Friday. Meals comprise 2 courses and cost $2.5 for each child. KeepCalling donated $250 to this cause, which will cover for the meals of all 13 children for 8 weeks.
The children are aged between 2 and 12 and some of them are monitored by the social services. In addition to eating a healthy lunch, they also talk to the project volunteers who feed the little ones. For a few hours a week, the children enjoy a warm, friendly atmosphere and, of course, a hot meal.
The project “A hot meal” was initiated by a group of young mothers united by the desire to offer their children and all children in general a harmonious physical and psychological development. The mission of those involved in this project is to ensure a healthy life from all points of view for children, families, and the community. Their conviction is that children deserve the best of everything, from health to education and from culture to human rights.
KeepCalling’s donations illustrate the company’s social responsibility policy. One of the company’s goals is to support charitable initiatives which offer social support to those in need. “A hot meal” is just one of KeepCalling’s many charity actions in the past few years.
