How to call Finland and other Finnish stories
Just two weeks before Santa sets off on his night long travel around the world, KeepCalling lands on Finnish ground. The purpose of our virtual trip is to find out more about the land of great contrasts and share tips on how to call Finland easily.
Finland is known for its fiords, lakes and all in all gorgeous landscape. There’s no wonder why the Finnish flag displays “the blue of our lakes and the white snow of our winters”.
This Scandinavian paradise offers its visitors the thrill of seeing the Northern Lights, or Kaamos, as they are known locally. And this is not all. Finland has a lot to offer culturally, from music, to film festivals and futuristic architecture.
Plus, 3.4% of Finland’s population lives in Lapland. The Finnish part of this region is the least densely populated area in the country. However, do you know who else lives there? Santa and the gang, of course! That is probably why the Finnish Christmas has lots of interesting details to check for yourself. Who knows, maybe you’ll get ideas for this Christmas.
These are all themes we would like to cover with you this week on our Facebook and Google+ pages. What do you know about Finland? Come share with us!
