You’re a true expat if…

We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again: we ❤️ expats! They are brave people who know that it’s in their own power to change their lives and who are not afraid to take action. We’re proud to dedicate our services to them and actually KeepCalling was born out of the wish to help immigrants keep in touch with their loved ones back home. Our desire is to provide a trustworthy calling service for expats, offering high quality and low rates.

 

Because it’s Heritage Month, a celebration dedicated especially to expats worldwide and to the appreciation of their native culture, we were thinking of what makes an expat… well… an expat. Of what defines them and unites them.

 

Expats have many things in common, from personality traits to life situations. Most of them go through the same experiences and get the same feelings: missing home, being proud of their new life, or being overwhelmed with the novelty of it all.

 

Here are some of the things we’ve noticed that apply to most expats we know. Some are funny, some are more serious, but they all illustrate how much the experience of being an expat can change people’s lives and give them strength, self confidence, and faith in the future.
